The Hammers are desperate to land a new forward after Ayew’s injury.
Simone Zaza and Carlos Bacca are both high on West Ham’s list for transfer targets. But after The Colombian’s opening day triplete, Milan have taken him off the market.
The clubs had previously agreed upon a €25 million transfer, but the deal broke down because Bacca wasn’t convinced by the destination. Now West Ham are offering €30 million, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, but now the Rossoneri won’t agree to the terms. West Ham would have to again significantly increase their bid.
Bacca recently stated that it was Vincenzo Montella who convinced him to stay. Not just by his words, but by his plans and system. And as evidence from the opener against Torino, the three goals speak for themselves.
€30 million is on the table for the Colombian striker, and it’s likely to remain there. West Ham are desperate, Milan are comfortable.
