The Nerazzurri full-back believes that every player on De Boer’s squad needs to show they are playing for the shirt or more defeats will present themselves.
Following a surprising loss against Chievo to open up the Serie A campaign, Inter’s Danilo D’Ambrosio addressed the media about the discouraging result in an interview with Inter Channel:
Chievo was certainly in better condition, although to me, we held onto the ball more. Maran’s squad is fighting for safety and we are Inter, we must achieve the results expected by the club. Every single player has to believe they can win their duels, otherwise, defeats like this will occur again. Chievo cannot have more hunger than us. If we understand that everyone wants to wear this shirt, like me when I was at Torino, we could win and achieve something important.
