The Juventus #9 spoke after the game about his desire to win.
Speaking to Mediaset Premium after his debut goal and win with Juventus, Higuain acknowledged his team’s effort to win.
“I’m very happy, I really wanted to score. Now we have to continue on and concentrate ourselves on the next game, I’m happy from the affection [from the fans] and I hope to continue to win and score. We must carry on like this. It’s very important to start off with a win. We worked hard and the victory is deserved. I hope to repay the affection shown with many goals. My objectives? I want to win the most amount of titles possible, but we’ve still got a long way to go.”
