The Rossoneri midfield is set for some time on the recovery table.
The club released a statement today to give an update on Andrea Bertolacci’s injury.
“AC Milan announces that during yesterday’s match Milan-Torino, Andrea Bertolacci, suffered a muscular injury to his left thigh. The player will undergo further medical exams in two weeks time.”
Bertolacci was hit from behind by a charging Boye and stretched awkwardly trying to regain his balance. He was stretchered off just a few minutes after coming on.
The international break will take place after this weekend’s matchday.
