The former Empoli striker expresses his honor and responsibility of representing the Amaranto in Lega Pro this season.
Signing on with Reggina via a free transfer from Cittadella this month, 33-year old Claudio Coralli could not hide his excitement at inking a deal to join the Reggio Calabria club at the press conference announcing his arrival, via TuttoReggina:
I had promised myself that if I ever went to go play in the South, my choice would have fallen on Reggina. This is a heavy and prestigious jersey. I had other offers but I only chose Reggina. I feel the responsibility to play for this team.
Coralli was then asked about the attributes his new teammates could expect to see from him:
I am a striker who plays near the goal. I am not the type to run 50 meters and do the back and forth. I try to find myself ready in the penalty area. Now my objective is to be ready as soon as possible.
