A day removed from losing 4-3 in a thrilling Coppa Italia First Round encounter against Ancona, tactician William Viali spoke to the club’s official website, via TuttoMercatoWeb, about the sudden end to their cup campaign:
Beyond the episodes of which we do not like to comment on, analyzing the game, in the first half we struggled to get into the rhythm, both in setting in and in pressing. However, the squad still tried to make a game of it but we were not successful in doing what we tried to do. In the second half, despite being down a man, we certainly played well, trying also to win it. Then unfortunately, we were penalized.
