The Swans boss has outlined one his pupils as an Ashley Williams replacement.
Francesco Guidolin, regarded as one of the best Italian tacticians in the last decade for his work at Udinese, is looking to bring in a familiar face.
Thomas Heurtaux has been linked with the Swans by Gazzetta dello Sport for a fee of around €4 million.
However in the game against Roma, he was forced off early into the second half due to injury.
Despite Udinese losing 4-0, the Frenchman wasn’t on the pitch for any of his side’s conceded goals.
