Despite overtures from clubs in Argentina and Brazil, Mauricio Pinilla preferred to remain in Italy, but it is Atalanta who are considering the transfer is a viable opportunity.
Furthermore Mauricio Pinilla has submitted a request to leave Atalanta, so it is likely the player will depart before end of the transfer window.
