One of Serie A’s rising stars is attracting interest from one of the world’s top clubs.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich had a positive first meeting with Bologna over the availability of 18-year old defensive midfielder Amadou Diawara. There are plans to meet again either in the next few days or next week however transfer discussions continue to move in the right direction. The young Guinean is said to be one of the targets Carlo Ancelotti would like to bring to Bayern when he takes over next season.
Diawara joined Bologna during the summer mercato from Lega Pro side San Marino FC. He has since appeared in 23 games this season, notching one assist.
