Totti: “I Expect More After All I’ve Given For Roma.”

Francesco Totti was interviewed by TG1 and the legendary Roma man highlighted his frustration at his lack of playing time.

The 39-year-old has seen his role marginalized at Roma this season and has received considerably less playing time as a result. With his contract expiring at the end of the season, question marks remain over his future. In his exclusive interview with TG1, he said,:

“I still feel like a footballer and want to play, the injury is behind me. I’m feeling good and if i’m left out of the team, it’s because of the manager’s technical choice. Sitting on the bench hurts me. I understand that at my age you play less but to finish my career like this is ugly. I expect more after all I’ve given for Roma.”

On his relationship with Spalletti:

“I tell him good morning and good night. I hope that he would say the things he says to the press to my face even if as a manager I rate him. I’m waiting for Pallotta for the contract. My contract expires in June, I’ll see. I’m waiting for correctness and for them to tell me the reality.”
