Astori is focusing solely on tomorrow’s return match against Tottenham and knows they have other strong players beyond Harry Kane.
Fiorentina defender Davide Astori spoke to the media in a press conference prior to La Viola’s 2nd-leg Europa League clash against Tottenham.
On Tottenham and Harry Kane being ruled out for the match:
He is certainly an important player but Tottenham have a strong squad and have all the tools to make this a great match. We did well in the first leg. We want to impose our style of play like we did for long stretches in Florence.
On Fiorentina’s standing in the Serie A table:
We are only thinking about tomorrow’s match. Good results help us a lot in having no worries when we take the field.
On the next 10 days being decisive for Fiorentina’s season:
The month of February is a crossroads for our season. We want to do well in the Europa League then we will think about the league. We have a squad that allows us to compete in all competitions.
