Juventus Finalizing Deal For Another Young Talent

Juventus has virtually completed the purchase of Simone Andrea Ganz, the striker who is out of contract with Como.

This was reported by the Gazzeta dello Sport, explaining that the player in the coming days will sign a contract for the next five years with Juventus. This will take affect after the current campaign ends in June. It is likely that in the next season Ganz will be loaned to another team to mature.

Simone, age 22, who was a product of the Milan youth system from 2008-2013, currently has a contract with Como in Serie B, who are now sitting in dead last place of Italy’s second division. Ganz leads the team in goals this season with 10 in 20 matches. He also has a international resume of  five caps and only one goal for the U-19 Azzurri.

Simone’s father is Maurizio Ganz, the former AC Milan striker. Simone made his professional debut at the age 17, replacing Brazilian striker Robinho in a Champions league match for his boyhood club AC Milan in November 2011. Ganz is another promising young talent Juventus has acquired for the future. While it remains to be seen whether they may loan him out, it nonetheless appears that Juventus have snapped him up.
