The war of words between Paulo Sousa and Luciano Spalletti has continued as the Roma boss put in his two cents.
Fiorentina coach Paulo Sousa previously was on record as saying that Mauro Zarate was handed a three match suspension in order for him to miss his side’s clash against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico. Here’s what Spalletti had to say about the Viola boss’ remarks,:
“Paulo Sousa seems to be a very nice person. He was a champion as a player and he is a great coach. Because he was such a good player and spent a lot of time in Italy, he knows things. If he says that, it means he knows. I wasn’t a great player and I haven’t been in situations where you learn about such things. He says what he knows.”
