Fiorentina’s Player Ratings vs Tottenham

Fiorentina were defeated easily by English giants Tottenham at the White Hart Lane this evening.

Tatarusanu (5): Rooted to the spot on the first goal, should have done much better but when the defense in front of you provides very little support there’s only so much you can do. Made a few great saves in the second half of the mach

Rodriguez (4): All over the place tonight, beaten numerous times however he did score a sublime own goal. Abysmal night for the Capitano.

Tomovic (2): Beaten to every ball, lost the majority of physical battles, misplaced countless passes and left his man unguarded for the first goal. It doesn’t get much worse than Nenad Tomovic.

Astori (5): Didn’t make any glaring mistakes which can’t be said about his defensive partners. Still nothing to be proud of after tonight’s disaster in London.

Alonso (4): Awful, offered very little going forward and cut to pieces by Lamela and co. in defense. Certainly not a night to remember for the ex-Barcelona youth product.

Badelj (5): Not a lot of touches and was another member of the cut down Fiorentina midfield. Completely outclassed by Mason, and Alli this evening

Vecino (5.5): Completed the most passes tonight for Fiorentina and offered more of a helping hand than Badelj but still nowhere near the quality of Tottenham.

Borja (6): Offered the most going forward and looked dangerous in the first half, but he and his fellow teammates completely imploded in the second half. Overrun by Tottenham’s midfield.

Bernardeschi (4): Poor, poor night for the 22 year old Italian, would have liked to have done much more on the European stage. Could’ve made a case for a spot on Italy’s 23 man roster for the Euro this summer, but this may have done him a lot of harm.

Ilicic (4): Subbed off early in the second half because he was doing absolutely nothing. Had one good chance and curled it wide in the first half.

Kalinic (5): The Croatian needed support to score and simply didn’t have it. Didn’t register a single shot the entire evening.

Substitutions:

Zarate (4): Here’s all you need to know. 4 shots, none of them on target.

Blaszczykowski (4): Had no idea he was on the pitch at all, let alone for 20 minutes. Nothing notable.

Matias Fernandez (5): Came into the game late and was thrown on to a game that was well over. Hard to rate his performance today.
