Cerci is currently enjoying his new adventure with Genoa and expressed his happiness at feeling important at the club.
In a recent column on Genoa’s official website, Alesso Cerci opened up about his feelings since joining from Milan:
It is great feeling useful and to rediscover sensations that I had once forgotten. It was emotional winning a game like the one against Udinese where we wasted some good opportunities and found ourselves behind a goal. I believe the team is right in congratulating itself for the way it took to the field and for the desire it put in. When the standings are not a help and you are not serene, everything becomes more difficult. I am returning to feeling like an important player again.
