Ahead of the Galatasaray-Lazio 2nd-leg match in the Europa League, Prandelli shares his thoughts on his former club.
In an interview with the Turkish media, as reported by LaLazioSiamoNoi, former Azzurri and Galatasaray manager Cesare Prandelli gave his views on his ex-club’s Europa League 2nd-leg clash against Lazio.
Galatasaray are a more organized team than Lazio. The Biancocelesti are going in with an advantage but it will be a difficult game for both teams.
On his time in Istanbul:
I miss Istanbul, I had a good season there. I believe my work was efficient. I made my contribution. Despite the change of manager and of a few players, the club is going through a difficult period. I think things with Hamzaouglu will get better.
On who he will support in tonight’s match:
I am loyal to the place and environment where I worked. The club has remained in my heart, even if Pioli is a good friend of mine. I hope the best team wins.
