Il Principino is ecstatic at the signing of the Bosnian playmaker and believes he can be a game-changer.
At the book signing of his newly-released biography Nero su Bianco, Claudio Marchisio spoke about the latest signing by Juventus and his thoughts on the Azzurri, via TMW:
Pjanic is a player who can change games, he has great technical skills and is young. It was a great acquisition, he is a fantastic player and has already proved his quality the last few years in Italy. Dani Alves? He should arrive. He would be a great addition which would increase the level of the team.
On when he should be returning to the pitch:
Nothing has changed in respect to what was said on the days following the injury. We cannot know the exact day, what matters is the present.
On how he feels watching the EURO from home:
I want to be there but I am happy for my teammates and for what they have done against Belgium. They know very well that it will not be easy. They have to continue on the right path.
On if there are similarities between Conte’s Azzurri and Conte’s Juventus:
There is no need for comparisons. This team is proving they have great quality and are doing well. With great cynicism, they managed to conquer all three points.
On Italy having the strongest defense in the world:
Italy has proved it for many years.
On if Italy can reach the Final:
I cannot say. There is still a long way to go.
