Atalanta is working to reinforce their attack and give new manager Gasperini the elements required for its 3-4-3 formation.
La Dea are looking for a left footed, wide forward. Juan Manuel Iturbe has now returned to Roma after a disappointing loan spell in England.
The Bergamo based side are looking to bring Iturbe in for next season, to try and re-kindle his old River Plate form. Their strategy is to loan in the Roma winger instead of having to meet his €15 million evaluation, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Paraguayan international had an abysmal loan spell at Bournemouth this past season, making only two Premier League appearances.
While for Roma, Iturbe made 19 appearances in all competitions, including every game of the UEFA Champions League group stage.
Iturbe was purchased by Roma from Hellas Verona for €24 million and has since underwhelmed expectations.
