Roma’s failed striker Seydou Doumbia is set to be offloaded this summer permanently.
Last August, Doumbia was loaned back to CSKA Moscow, but then returned in January to be then moved to Newcastle United.
Despite all this, his numbers from last season are still somewhat impressive, he scored 11 goals and 5 assists in 25 matches in total.
Now, according to Il Messaggero, Mexican club Tigres are ready to give the Ivorian a new permanent home. They’ve offered the Giallorossi €10 million for Seydou’s services. However, FC Basel and again CSKA Moscow are interested in the player.
Spalletti nor Rafa Benitez want the player, so a new team must be found for the journeyman Doumbia.
