The MLS could end up being the next destination for the Bologna striker with one of the three Canadian teams showing interest.
Upon returning to Bologna from his loan at Carpi, Matteo Mancosu is at the stage of pondering his future as he no longer fits in the plans of Roberto Donadoni. As per Sportitalia however, the MLS could be a possibility for the 2014 Serie B capocannoniere. The Italian media outlet reports that the Montreal Impact, who are also owned by Bologna President Joey Saputo, have given thought to the idea of bringing in the 31-year old center forward to add depth to their attack.
Mancosu played 21 games this season between Bologna and Carpi, only scoring twice. He also featured in the Coppa Italia for Carpi, where he found the back of the net once.
