Arsenal eye Inter’s Perisic to replace Walcott

The Croatia and Inter star could be on a move to the Premier League this summer.

Unfortunately for Croatia, their Euro 2016 campaign has come to a close with a heartbreaking loss thanks to a late Portugal stunner in the 117th minute.

Now some of Croatia’s player’s can define their futures. Ivan Perisic has interest from several teams but Arsenal are the latest to begin to ramp up their interest. According to the Daily Mirror, Arsene Wenger sees Perisic as the ideal replacement for Theo Walcott, who’s future in London is anything but certain.

Ivan Perisic had an excellent group stage for Croatia, scoring two goals in three matches, including the winner against Spain which made them winners of the group.

For Inter, he scored 9 goals in 37 matches during his debut season with the club.

After missing out on Jamie Vardy of Leicester City, the EPL runner-ups need to bring in fresh blood to their attack and the 27-year old seems to fit the bill.

Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund are also thought to be linked with the Croatian, who is believed to be worth around €19 million.
