Little stands in the way of bringing Zabaleta down to Rome.
The final details are in progress of being defined. The Giallorossi and Manchester City have found an agreement around €3 million to transfer the rightback down to the Italian capital.
In the last few hours, the Argentina man has rescinded his concerns and seems convinced to join the Roma project, accepting a multi year deal.
For weeks, the Roma DS Sabatini has pointed towards Zabaleta to reinforce the backline. He fits the profile because of his vast international experience on the right side. Reports from Manchester indicate that this deal might go official in the next few days.
According to the Manchester Evening News, these two clubs are near total agreement and the next step is to announce the transfer.
The 31-year old has a plethora of titles to his name with two Premier League trophies, an FA Cup, two league cups, a Spanish trophy and a gold medal from the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.
The defender is believed to be worth around €15 million, but Manchester City want to offload his contract, meaning Roma could get him for a fraction of the cost.
