No player for Palermo is considered unsellable after last season’s near disaster.
Edoardo Goldaniga, the 22-year old center back from Palermo is on the market this summer and Fiorentina are keen to swoop in and sign him.
Andrea Della Valle’s club has reportedly offered around €4 million to Zamparini, but the latter turned it down. According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the Rosanero value the Italian youngster to be worth around €7 million.
At the moment, that is too high of an evaluation for Della Valle and he is shopping elsewhere. For the moment, it’s likely that the ex-Perugia and Pisa defender could stay in Sicily, unless an offer arrives that meets the demands of Maurizio Zamparini.
Goldaniga had been owned by Juventus but was sold back to Palermo where he was a member of their youth team.
This past season, Goldaniga played in 17 Serie A matches and scored two goals in that time period.
