The 28 year old midfield dynamo has been a favorite of Antonio Conte for quite some time and the new Chelsea manager has placed Nainggolan at the top of wishlist.
After already selling Miralem Pjanic to Juventus, Roma will request top Euro for Nainggolan, but even that may not deter the Blues from pressing for him.
Nainggolan speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, told reporters he isn’t exactly sure where his future lies.
“The two clubs are still talking, we’ll see what happens. If I had to stay I’d be happy, but at the moment I’m only thinking about the Euros. Vermaelen? He’s a great player, everybody wants him. I already told Roma that they need to get him.”
The Indo-Belgian signed with Roma from Cagliari in 2014 and has since gone on to become a staple of the Giallorosso midfield.
