Despite a less than satisfactory season for Lazio last year, the Serbian will not leave the club after one year.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s agent has cancelled the notion that his client will be leaving Rome this summer, confirming to LaLazioSiamoNoi.
“Signing with Napoli? I don’t know where these rumors come fromt. Segej will stay at Lazio for the next year,” says his agent Mateja Kezman. “He’s happy at Roma, he loves the team and he’s not leaving”
Milinkovic Savic was signed from Belgian club Genk for approximately €9 million last summer. He since went on to make over 30 appearances in competitive competitions this past year, scoring three goals in the process.
The midfielder had been linked with clubs like Napoli and Inter, but those seem to be just rumors and nothing more.
