Napoli refusing to give up on securing the signature of Pescara’s top goalscorer.
As per Sky Sport 24, Napoli have concluded another meeting with Gianluca Lapadula‘s representatives and have decided to increase their offer. The Partenopei are reportedly raising the amount to €9 million for the Serie B capocannoniere. For weeks now, the Pescara marksman has been one of the talks of the summer transfer period in Serie A. Napoli have continued to pursue his service as only a ‘yes’ from the striker was said to be needed for the deal to be completed.
Sky Sport 24 also reports that the current Scudetto holders, Juventus, are in the race to sign Lapadula, with the idea of then loaning him out to Sassuolo for the season. Genoa also hoping they can snatch him away from Napoli’s grasp but remain outsiders to do so. The ball is now in Lapadula‘s court to make a final decision on his own future.
