Fiorentina looks to be very active on deadline day, with a Sampdoria midfielder on the wishlist for Paulo Sousa.
Alfredo Pedullà reports that in the last few hours Fiorentina has looked to sign a backup for the midfield in the form of Edgar Barreto on loan.
Meanwhile, Sampdoria are continuing to follow Alberto Aquilani who plays for Sporting Lisbon, who are in first place in Portugal.
