Roma forward Seydou Doumbia has signed with Premier League club Newcastle United.
In the last day of the winter market, Roma offloads Seydou Doumbia to Newcastle.
After being given back to CSKA Moscow on loan from Roma last summer, the Ivorian striker will be officially transferred to Premiere League relegation-battling Newcastle who are currently sitting in 18th place with 21 points.
This completes the very brief and unsuccessful adventure for Doumbia at Roma.
Here is the official word from Newcastle,:
“Newcastle United would like to announce that it has signed AS Roma striker Seydou Doumbia on loan with a right of redemption.”
