The Azzurri shot-stopper does not see his country as one of the top teams but believes they can surprise many.
Looking ahead to their opening group stage game at the EURO, Gianluigi Buffon addressed the media about Italy’s chances going into the tournament:
We are not among the favorites. The starting grid does not have us among the first place teams but we want to overturn the odds. I do not think there is skepticism, it is only a correct analysis of our strength. We will try to show that these analyses are wrong.
