With one Roma star reportedly set to depart the capital, another could also be headed for the exit as Chelsea continue their pursuit of Giallorossi midfielder Radja Nainggolan.
As per earlier reports, it seems as if AS Roma’s Bosnian playmaker Miralem Pjanic is on his way out of Rome, with his bags packed set for a move to Turin to join Juventus; but he may not be the only Serie A star to switch clubs.
According to Sky Sports, newly appointed Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte, has set his sights on long-time favorite Radja Nainggolan to help bolster the Blues for next season. Roma have slapped a 45 million euro valuation on their prized Belgian international however currently, Chelsea have placed on the table a €32m offer plus three million in bonuses.
The ex-Cagliari dynamo has already admitted that Conte wants him to join the English club this summer in a press conference with the Belgium National Team. It remains to be seen whether Nainggolan wishes to leave behind his Roma teammates in favor of a move to Stamford Bridge where fellow nationals Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois reside.
