The FIGC have announced that Italy’s World Cup qualifier against Spain will take place at the home of the Serie A Champions Juventus in October.
The Azzurri were drawn in a comfortable group along with Spain, Albania, Israel, Macedonia and Liechtenstein.
Spain will prove a difficult test in Giampiero Ventura’s first competitive home game for the Azzurri with friendlies also against France and Germany at home to come.
Both sides met earlier in the year in an International friendly in a match which ended 1-1 with goals from Insigne and Aduriz.
Both sides have an equal record against each other with 10 wins each and 14 draws between them in 34 games.
