Napoli hit a wall in their transfer negotiations for the Lyon midfielder.
As reported by French publication L’Équipe, Napoli have had the door shut on them a second time in their latest attempt at luring Corentin Tolisso to Italy. Lyon originally rejected their initial bid of €16 million for the midfielder which prompted Napoli to return with an improved bid. Their latest offer of €20 million was also refused by Lyon President, Jean-Michel Aulas.
Tolisso is reported to also be favoring a move to the Premier League, should he leave Lyon, instead of Serie A. The U-21 French International scored five goals and collected six assists in 33 games for Les Gones this season. His current contract at the club expires at the end of June 2020.
