“Marchisio? We suspect it’s a cruciate tear. Tomorrow or tonight there will be more tests but we’re hoping it’s not that. It’s serious.
On the performance:
“Today we conceded a few too many chances in the first half. After a good opening ten minutes, we stumbled. We can’t let this happen. Our goal difference was at stake. We can’t afford to concede goals. We have to improve in our game management as we’re in the final parts of the season. When our opponent is struggling, we must kill the game off. We have a few young players. Yesterday’s results lend to the idea that the Scudetto race is closed but it’s not. We’re still missing two wins and one draw to reach 86 points. I’m not giving a percentage of certainty. The others have an easier schedule.”
On Pogba’s masterclass:
“We already knew that Pogba is a quality player and is decisive. I criticize him because he can finish games without making mistakes. Once he starts making mistakes in a game, it’s contagious. Lemina had a good game other than one mistake. But he has to improve tactically and make less mistakes. There’s also Hernanes who has played there and done well. I chose to sub in Lemina because he offers defensive protection but we have a number of players who can play in that role.
Morata?
“He did well like Dybala. He had a good game from a technical and a physical standpoint. Morata did well but made mistakes of a young man like his booking for protests.”

“Looking at the results, yes. We can still improve. The old guard have been fantastic while the younger players have been very good and have a different responsibility. The team has a bright future.”
Thoughts on possibly celebrating the Scudetto in Firenze? “I’d be happy to win the Scudetto being one point ahead of Napoli or even on goal difference.”
