After firing Sinisa Mihajlovic, Milan may look to bring him back ahead of the final three games of the season.
According to il Corriere dello Sport, Milan are thinking about calling back Mihajlovic to guide the team through the final games of the season and the Coppa Italia final against Juventus on the 21st of May. If Brocchi doesn’t win his next game, he will be fired and Mihajlovic will be brought back. Their defeat to the already relegated Hellas Verona and Sassuolo’s win mean that Eusebio di Francesco’s side are only one point behind them.
After the defeat to Hellas Verona, Berlusconi said,:
“Milan never played this bad under Sinisa.”
After a win in his first game in charge, Brocchi has picked up a defeat, a draw and a feud with Carlos Bacca. At the moment, he’s on the hot-seat as the ghost of Mihajlovic lurks.
