After an incident some call “disgraceful” Carlos Bacca asked for forgiveness on social media after the game.
During the second half of Milan’s home draw with Carpi, Bacca was subbed off for Jeremy Menez. The Colombian didn’t take too kindly to new coach Cristian Brocchi’s decision and didn’t acknowledge Menez and walked straight down the tunnel.
“Reflecting on things with a cool head and a few hours past, I want to ask for forgiveness to the coach, and to all my teammates and the Milan fans for my behavior yesterday at the time I was substituted. This isn’t who I am, it was only a moment in which I thought, wanted and could have helped the team on the field, I knew it would have been difficult. For this, from the heart, I ask for forgiveness and say that I will give the maximum to the team, the coach and for this shirt. Now we’ll prepare for the next ‘finale’ on Monday. Vamos que Vamos”
