Juventus Dybala soar over Lazio

Lazio played a man down for most of the 2nd half and were no match for the high flying Bianconeri in Turin.

No Marchisio? No problem for Juventus as the 4 consecutive time defending Serie A champions inch nearer to the 5th in a row.

Juventus have a nine point bridge built between first and second place Napoli, who yesterday beat Bologna 6-0 at the Stadio San Paolo. However, Juventus also demonstrated to be capable of a flashy performance, albeit against a struggling 10 men side.

Paulo Dybala played for 74 minutes tonight and he certainly made the most of it. An outstanding two goal night in addition to causing all sorts of havoc with the Lazio defense on an off the ball will make tonight a night to remember. He’s now scored 16 goals in this year’s Serie A.

From a larger scope, Juventus weren’t really threatened once the whole night. Buffon didn’t have to make a save and Lazio barely managed to make it into Juve’s half in the last 45.

Hernanes and Lemina will continue to divide up most of the gap left by Marchisio until the end of the season while Stefano Sturaro will continue to make a last ditch case for the Euro 2016 squad. The balance was not affected too much by Marchisio’s absence, due in large part to Khedira and Pogba being in control of the midfield.

Juventus have an opportunity to clinch the Scudetto again with a handful of games to go,before they take on AC Milan in the finale of the Coppa Italia.
