The Italy international has burst onto the scene this season with Fiorentina and the club will request top dollar to sell him.
Federico Bernardeschi is a household name in the making, and Fiorentina know it. Although the Viola have begun to fade away in the final part of the season, Bernardeschi either represents the next big player for the club, or the next big sale to aid the cash strapped Florence based outfit.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Fiorentina are preparing for either scenario by offering Bernardeschi a long term contract extension that is paired with a 50 million Euro release clause.
At the moment, the Viola have no intention on letting him go, however a few big offers have been placed on the table, and now Europe’s giants will have to meet the standard valuation the club have put on him.
The 22 year old winger has played in 37 competitive matches this season, scoring 5 goals. However the stats do not tell the entire story, as when played in a strictly attacking role in European play, Bernardeschi scored 4 goals in less than 500 minutes time.
