Offering him a luxurious salary won’t change anything as the Argentine international wants to be a part of an ambitious project. His departure would stunt a lot of the progress the club has made this season and would set them back considerably.

With Champions League football within his grasp, Il Pipita will be keen to close out the season strongly. Last season, Napoli let European football slip away in the final day against Lazio, a mistake they cannot afford to make this time around.
