Today it was reported that Chinese business man Jack Ma is interested in buying Milan this summer but who exactly is he?
Following the reports suggesting that Ma would buy Milan, Tuttomercatoweb released an article highlighting his resume and profile.
“Jack Ma is from Hangzhou and began teaching English at a university in 1990. At the moment, he’s the 29th richest man in the world. Recently, it’s been reported that he’s a potential buyer for Milan. He made his fortunes thanks to his Chinese giant e-commerce site Alibaba. He founded it in 1998 with 18 others for 60,000 dollars. From then on, many people invested in his venture. It would only take three years for Alibaba to make its return on investment and by 2012, its revenue would surpass that of Ebay and Amazon. Alibaba along with Alibaba Sports Group, owns Guangzhou Evergrande and also owns 20% of Suning, the giant behind Inter’s potential buyout. Ma was also the first Chinese man to appear on Forbes.”
