Roma have been working over the last few years to submit all the needed paperwork to the government to begin construction of their new stadium.
“Stadio della Roma representatives today submitted technical documentation to the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) for a preliminary review,” Roma stated in an official release.
“This represents the beginning of the final submission process that will see the comprehensive dossier of the Tor di Valle / Stadio della Roma project presented to Regione Lazio.
“As part of this submission, CONI will receive the project’s detailed designs and narrative reports for the stadium, new training complex and Roma Village prepared by a group of national and international team of experts.
“Presenting the stadium designs to CONI is the first step of our submission process,” commented David Ginsberg from Stadio della Roma. “CONI has always been an honorable and important partner for AS Roma and we look to continue this long-lasting partnership for many years to come.
“We also want to confirm our support to CONI for the Rome 2024 Olympic Games candidacy and we hope that Stadio della Roma will play a key role for this important event.”
