With Francesco Totti’s future hanging in the balance, Roma fans have taken action into their own hands.
Yesterday it was reported that Mauro Baldissoni will fly back to Rome and meet with James Pallotta to discuss the future of Francesco Totti. In addition, they have reportedly set the date of May 8th as the deadline to announce their decision regarding their legendary captain’s future.
In recent hours, it’s been said that the giallorossi will give their captain a new contract. However, his role within the side is likely to be a reduced one. Roma fans are clearly unhappy with the uncertainty surrounding their hero’s future and have started a petition to hand Totti a renewal. At the moment, the petition has 87 signatures and can be found here. The goal is set at 100 signatures therefore it would need a further 13.
