Berardi Pushing For Sassuolo Stay Over Juventus Move

Sassuolo forward Domenico Berardi was said to be on his way to Juventus but has since rethought the decision to move.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport and Gianluca Di Marziothere will be a meeting at the end of the week between Juventus and Sassuolo in order to decide Berardi’s future together. At the moment, it looks incredibly likely that the player will stay with Sassuolo for another year. The owner of Sassuolo Giorgio Squinzi wants to keep the player at the club due to his side’s Europa League involvement next season while Inter are possibly eyeing an intervention for the player. Berardi, on the other hand, is pushing to stay at the club instead of moving to Juventus.

The 21-year-old has been one of Italy’s top talents since moving to Sassuolo and has 38 goals and 22 assists over the last three seasons from the right wing. As a result, lots of teams are after him but Juventus possess the first option. However, should he reject yet another move to Allegri’s side, it remains to be seen whether Juventus will outright sell him.
