The former Azzurri striker believes Antonio Conte did everything right and the players responded in incredible fashion.
In an interview with Sky, World Cup winner and recently retired Hellas Verona striker, Luca Toni spoke about the type of Azzurri he witness during yesterday’s victory:
Yesterday, I saw a great Italian side play and it was a great game. I now hope they can play the same against the lesser teams. It is difficult to score against this Italy. Everybody played well, with Bonucci who made the type of assist seen of a great midfielder. I played with Giaccherini and know his importance. I know what he can give and so does Conte. The CT was able to get the very best out of every single player.
