One of the pleasant surprises of Italian football this year, may not be staying around much longer in Italy.
He came to reunite with his old coach, Rudi Garcia on loan, but now things do not seem so certain for Lucas Digne. The Frenchman quickly integrated himself into the Roma starting eleven and has been solid throughout the year.
However, outgoing Sporting Director Walter Sabatini has already declined PSG’s request for 16 million euros to sign the Frenchman on a permanent basis. Roma are looking to make a deal that costs no more than 8 million for the leftback.
The Giallorossi would like to keep Digne, but PSG could bring him back home unless Roma meet their demands. For the moment, it seems the next stop for Digne’s career is a return to Paris.
