Florenzi believes Roma can catch up to Napoli and secure second place in the Serie A standings.
In an interview with the Roma Match Program, Alessandro Florenzi spoke about Roma’s quest to surpass Napoli for second place:
We have one objective, to win the next game and we are facing every game with this mentality. Game after game, we try to do our best and so far, we are succeeding. We are trying to distance ourselves more and more from Inter and Fiorentina, and we are definitely not giving up on Napoli. Should they slip up and we win another game, we will be even closer to second place.
Florenzi also commented on Higuain’s 4-game ban:
His absence will be felt but I do not know how much. They have a lot of strong players, Insigne, Hamsik, and they are very strong defensively with a very good coach.
