Roma’s Spanish foward Iago Falque had a long conversation with Sky Italia. The ex-Genoa player talked about the upcoming match against Empoli, “The best football in Italy, is being played in Rome. The perfect partnership with Digne allows me to pump many crosses into the penalty box.”
“I’ve only scored one goal so far this season, but that happened last year with Genoa and in the end I scored 13. I play the best in the second half of the season, so in the coming months I will continue to improve along with Roma. Right now what is important is balance, it’s important for a modern forward to give a hand in defense as well.”
“Empoli? They are a team that play very good counter-attacking football, it’s one of the tougher small clubs. De Rossi? I like the way he prepares for each match, and gives his all in every practice, he’s an icon from whom I can learn alot. The new formation (4-4-2)? It’s a setup that allows us to make use of Gervinho and Salah’s pace, it also allows us to play without important players such as Dzeko, Totti and Keita so it’s another resource that we can use, I’m not sure if Garcia will revert to the 4-3-3.”
