Dybala: “I Have the Confidence of the Coach and My Teammates.”

Today, Juventus returned to winning ways in Serie A after beating Atalanta in convincing fashion by a score of 2-0.

For the past week, Juventus fans have been crying for Massimiliano Allegri to start Paulo Dybala more often and today they got their wish. The Argentine was in sublime form against Atalanta and notched a goal and an assist. With a bit more precision, he could have easily found himself with a hat-trick to his name. After the game, the former Palermo man told Mediaset Premium,:

“I’m happy because today throughout the whole ninety minutes we played a good game. We kept the ball well and I thought we deserved to win today. I have the confidence of the coach and my teammates. Every time I take the field, I look to give my all.”

Do you feel the pressure?

“Absolutely not. I talk to my teammates and don’t read what is written in the papers. I’d like to thank the fans for their affection.

Do you believe in the Scudetto?

“That’s what we are here for. We’ll look to win our fifth Scudetto.”

What difficulties do you face trying to replicate Tevez’ game?

“It’s hard because at Palermo I played as a lone striker and was assisted by Vazquez. Now, I’ll do whatever the coach asks of me.”

On the penalty shot he won –

I gave it to Pogba. He took the ball with full confidence and I was sure he was going to score. These things, however, happen but the important thing is that we won.”
