“A mature team needs to control the game better with more men on the field,” began Bonaventura, speaking to Premium Sport.
“We worked too hard, we suffered, but it was important to win today even if we played bad. At times we did well, this is a win we needed badly. Now we need to change our mentality, winning needs to be the normality for us.
“We put a lot of spirit into it but we still have a lot to do.”
“Donnarumma? He’s 16 years old, he’s doing him, we have to help him get better without too pressuring him too much. Sure, he has great attributes. In goal we are very safe also with Diego Lopez, who is a veteran goalkeeper.”
“Do I feel like the lead of the team? I don’t know, I only look to give my best to those who are younger. Everybody has to understand that the situation isn’t a good one but with this jersey says a lot and everybody should feel fortunate to wear it.”
