AC Milan wingback and goalscorer Luca Antonelli spoke to the press following the win against Chievo Verona.
“To score tonight was a great feeling, also because the celebration was dedicated to my partner, who is 4 months pregnant. I am delighted about the win and we will start preparing for the match against Lazio as of tomorrow. Against Sassuolo, we also did well to limit the danger of the three forwards up front.
“I am really happy to be playing in the same team as Bertolacci and Kucka, who I knew at Genoa. There were doubts over Bonaventura’s fitness right until the last minute, but he had a great match.
“We’re improving with each game that goes by. We know we haven’t as yet achieved anything, but we’re pleased with the result and ready to focus on the match in Rome.
“Tonight was my first goal at the San Siro and it’s very unlikely that I will ever forget it! We’re Milan and we have to try and win every match. We will give our all on Sunday and try and win again.”
