After five consecutive starting-eleven appearances, Atalanta’s youngster Alberto Grassi could definitively be considered a key piece of Edy Reja’s squad. Grassi was warmly welcomed by his fans on a meeting hosted at Atalanta Store (chairman Antonio Percassi was also present).
“I wasn’t expecting to play so many matches”, 20-year-old Grassi said. I must be thankful to the manager and repay his trust with my performances on the pitch. My teammates also help me a lot. We’ve had a good start: we work hard on a step-by-step basis”. Grassi then spoke about Juve, Atalanta’s next opponent: “It’s one of the biggest clubs in Europe. It’d be great if we could bring a good result home”
